I'm also a mother, wife and lover of the great outdoors.
I was born in the small country town of Dalwallinu, along WA's wheatbelt. A place that holds so many warm memories. A place where I'd watch thunderstorms roll across the paddocks, a place where muddy red dirt was prominent on our clothes, a place where the squawk of cockatoos sounds like home.
When I was 7, my mum, brother and I moved to the cosy little town of Tapanui, West Otago in the beautiful country of New Zealand. I was raised on a farm, surrounded by the most beautiful mountains and fields. I spent most of my childhood running barefoot during summer on 25 acres of backyard and skating in gumboots on our frozen dam during winter.
I spent 7 wonderful years in New Zealand and hold those childhood memories very close to my heart.
Fast forward a few years, I moved back to WA, married my husband Steve in 2013 and in 2017 became a mother to our darling son, Zak.
I'm a very maternal person and I love to capture family journeys.
From pregnancy to newborn and beyond. Each and every stage. It's all beautiful, it's all worthy of capturing.
If you are looking for perfectly posed photographs then I am probably not the photographer for you.
I endeavour to truly bring out the beauty in the un-posed, and have you focused on each other rather than the camera.
